How To Keep Your Cell Phone Number (Almost) Untraceable

Did you know that people could find your cell phone number using the Internet? There are databases out there that people can use to search your cell phone record — just like the police and other private eyes.

In this article, I am going to show you how to keep your celluar record private. So people can’t find it. You’re going to be “invisible”, so to speak.

The first thing you want to do is buy a cell phone on a contract basis but rather buy it outright through the manufacturer or independent retailer.

You should pay cash, so your name is not linked to the cell phone itself. Or you can buy a used cell phone off somebody from Craigslist or Ebay.

Also pay cash for your SIM card. It depends on your country and state, but where I’m from, you have to call the wireless service provider in order to activate the SIM card.

They are going to ask you for your information such as your birth date, full name and mailing address. What I recommend you to do is use your own discretion when you’re providing your personal information to the person on the other end of the line.

Having an anonymous cellular phone is good for people who are trying to run away from ex-lovers-turned-stalkers, or people who just want more privacy in their life.

Another thing you should know that what you say the cell phone is not 100% secure. Cell phone are a little bit more secure then land lines but people — amateurs and professional alike — can eavesdrop on your cell phone conversation, so don’t discuss anything important when you are on the cell phone such as financial matters.
